PixelBeam copies photos and videos between your device and PC. The licensing service does not receive your media, filenames, phone identifier, or destination folder.
License activation
Activation sends your license key and a randomly generated installation ID over HTTPS. The service stores a hash of the key, its purchase reference, activation slots, and timestamps. Cloudflare processes request metadata, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service.
Payments
Purchases use Stripe Checkout. Stripe processes payment and checkout information under its own privacy policy. PaperNewt does not receive or store card details. Stripe sends payment-confirmation data, including the checkout email, to the licensing service so it can issue your PixelBeam key. The email is encrypted at rest and used only to deliver the key and send a one-time license-recovery link.
Download measurement
When an installer download starts, we record the product, day, broad referral category, browser-or-automated category, file size, and a keyed token that changes daily. The token is derived from the request IP address with a secret salt; we do not store the raw IP address, full referrer URL, or user agent in this measurement. This helps us count approximate daily unique download starts and identify automated traffic.
This website
This website uses no advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes the requests needed to serve and protect it.
On your PC
Activation data and diagnostic logs are stored locally. Transfer reports are saved to your selected destination when enabled. Review diagnostic logs before sharing them because they may contain file paths.
