A QUICK ICLOUD CHECK

Your photos are there.
Let’s bring the originals.

See more photos on your iPhone than in PixelBeam? Optimize iPhone Storage may be keeping some originals in iCloud.

On your iPhone

Locally stored originals are available for PixelBeam to copy over USB.

Ready to copy

Still in iCloud

A smaller preview can appear in Photos while the full-resolution original stays in the cloud.

Download first

iCloud Photos can keep originals on your phone, too. It’s the files available over USB that determine what PixelBeam can transfer.

ON YOUR IPHONE

Get ready in three steps

  1. Open iCloud Photos

Settings → your name → iCloud → Photos

  2. Download and Keep Originals

Select this option and make sure your phone has room for the downloads.

  3. Let them download, then scan

Stay on Wi-Fi and power. Once downloads finish, reconnect to your PC and scan again.

Library too big for your phone?

Use iCloud for Windows or iCloud.com to download directly to your PC. PixelBeam doesn’t download cloud-only originals.
